We are facing an unprecedented national and global health emergency. Such a scenario is fast-moving and changing daily.
As a nation we are learning, adapting and responding to the fluctuating circumstances together. At Sitrus Consulting, our commitment, guidance and collaborative nature of working has not changed, and we are determined more than ever to support those who seek advice and guidance in these uncertain times.
Most employers and employees are now working from home where possible, using video and collaborative tools to help manage their teams and workload. We are well-equipped in guiding your businesses remotely and are keen to support you in any way we can.
Health and wellbeing guidance
The enormity of the current situation and the subsequent changes this will bring to the way we work and live will undoubtedly affect our own health and well-being, especially as we all adapt to working remotely, whilst balancing childcare responsibilities and relationships with friends and family.
Please read the guidance from the Mental Health Foundation on looking after your mental health during the coronavirus outbreak. This will provide practical advice on keeping your mind and body active, managing stress and how to stay connected with others during this time.
In addition, we have provided some information on best practice for working from home. During such times it is essential that we talk and cover issues such as exercise, loneliness, keeping in contact with family and friends, coping with financial hardship, and maintaining a healthy work/life balance in this new environment.
These are going to be very difficult times. However, there are things we can all do to look after ourselves and no-one should be unsupported. If you and members of your team need any advice and support or need guidance when searching for coping mechanisms and resources, please do not hesitate to contact us.
So much has happened in the past few weeks it is difficult to keep track, but here is a summary that may be useful:
